Vale Sue Nattrass AO

The Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust pays tribute to former Trustee Sue Nattrass AO, following news of her passing aged 81.

Sue served as a Trustee from 2000–2012, and as interim CEO from 2004–2005. She was a key contributor to the development and delivery of AAMI Park, and worked closely with Melbourne Storm, Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City on their tenancy in the venue. Sue was instrumental in developing the concept for the iconic roof lighting on top of AAMI Park.

Sue was a pioneer for the live events industry and held roles across many parts of the industry during her career. She was the first female General Manager at Arts Centre Melbourne, served as Artistic Director of the Melbourne and Adelaide Festivals, and was a long-term president of industry body Live Performance Australia.
