Vale Garry Van Egmond

The Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust pays tribute to music industry stalwart Garry Van Egmond, following news of his passing on 6 April.

Garry Van Egmond was a pioneer of the Australasian entertainment industry, and through his company TEG Van Egmond, was responsible for some of Australia’s biggest ever concert tours. With 50 years’ experience in touring, production and promotion, Garry sold in excess of 35 million tickets across Australia, New Zealand and Asia across contemporary concerts and theatre productions.

Garry was a friend and colleague to many at Melbourne & Olympic Parks (M&OP), and we extend our condolences to his family.

TEG Van Egmond is a key entertainment partner of M&OP, and the Trust looks forward to honouring Garry’s legacy through ongoing partnership.
