Three arenas ranked in Pollstar’s Top 10

Melbourne & Olympic Parks (M&OP) has reinforced its place as Australia’s home of live events, with three of its venues named in Pollstar’s Top 10 Arenas across Australia and New Zealand for 2022-23. 

Rod Laver Arena came in second behind Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, hosting 91 shows between August 2022 and July 2023. Margaret Court Arena ranked ninth, while John Cain Arena rounded out the top 10.  

M&OP’s venues hosted some of the year’s best-performing tours, with Elton John, Michael McIntyre and The Killers all featuring in the top 10. 

The past year has been one of M&OP’s busiest on record, with three million guests attending over 400 events. There was truly something for everyone, with families, music fans, sports fanatics and conference goers all having a reason to come to enjoy an event M&OP.  

And the action doesn’t stop, with a full calendar of events to look forward to in the coming year.
