Melbourne & Olympic Parks and Tennis Australia call on innovative caterers

Melbourne & Olympic Parks (M&OP) and Tennis Australia (TA) are calling on capable, experienced, and innovative caterers to provide catering services at the precinct through a two-stage procurement process.

For part one, M&OP and TA are seeking Expressions of Interest from interested parties. The EOI information is available here, with responses due by 21 April 2023. Please note that participation in the EOI is a prerequisite for inclusion at the next stage.

M&OP and TA collaborate closely on the delivery of the precinct’s major event, the Australian Open. Year-round, M&OP works with a range of stakeholders, including professional sporting clubs and leagues, and entertainment promoters, to deliver a diverse program of events across the precinct’s venues.

Contracts are on offer, for Melbourne Park – which includes Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena, John Cain Arena, Kia Arena and function and events space CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park – and AAMI Park.

Invitees are welcome to respond to one or both contract opportunities.

The Melbourne Park catering contract includes:

  • Australian Open catering requirements – including catering in venue to guests, players, media, corporate and partner hospitality needs. In addition, food and beverage is served across multiple precincts including but not limited to Grand Slam Oval, Garden Square, Western Courts, RLA Terrace and River Terrace.
  • Year-round catering requirements – including catering to guests, artists, athletes, delegates and corporate hospitality across back of house, public and retail, VIP, conferences, galas, special events, VIP and functions.

The AAMI Park catering contract includes:

  • Year-round catering requirements at the venue, including catering to guests, artists, athletes, delegates and corporate hospitality across back of house, public and retail, conferences, galas, special events and functions.
