Liberty Sanger appointed to County Court of Victoria

Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trustee, Liberty Sanger OAM, has been appointed as a judge to the County Court of Victoria.

Liberty is a Principal at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers and leads the firm’s Personal Injuries Law Division. She is a champion of inclusion and gender equality, serving as the Chair of Maurice Blackburn’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and having participated in and led four gender equality advisory bodies for the Victorian Government.

In 2021, Liberty was recognised for her services to the law and the community with a Medal of the Order of Australia.

Liberty has served as a member of the Trust since 2017 and is the Chair of the People and Culture Committee.
