There are several options for your journey to Melbourne & Olympic Parks.
Public transport is the quickest and easiest option. Before you attend, plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions.
Parking is available at the Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard). We strongly recommend pre-booking; drive-up spaces are subject to availability. Bookings close at midnight the night before the event.

Rates:
- Event Parking (Pre-Booked): $20
- Event Parking (Drive-Up): $30
- Non-Event Parking: $7.50
Other Parking Options
If parking is sold out or unavailable, several private operators are located near the precinct:
Limited on-street parking is available via the Botanical Gardens along the Yarra River.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking must be pre-booked via Ticketek.
We strongly recommend parking is booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
Please note, that there are a limited number of accessible parking bays located out the front of John Cain Arena (Olympic Boulevard).
Drop Off & Pick Up
Rod Laver Arena
Reduced mobility guests can be dropped off or picked up in the Northern Car Park (Entrance A, Batman Avenue) or Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard).
All visitors have 20 minutes to drop off or pick up guests. Please note, that exceeding this time may result in parking charges.
Margaret Court Arena
Reduced mobility guests can be dropped off or picked up in the Northern Car Park (Entrance A, Batman Avenue) or Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard).
All visitors have 20 minutes to drop off or pick up guests. Please note, that exceeding this time may result in parking charges.
John Cain Arena
Reduced mobility guests can be dropped off or picked up out the front of John Cain Arena on Olympic Boulevard in the designated zones.
AAMI Park
Reduced mobility guests can be dropped off or picked up at Entrance E (for Gates 5 – 8) and Entrance F (for Gates 1 – 4).
Lifts are available at either entrance to take guests from ground level up to concourse level.
Once on concourse level, Gates 2 and 7 are equipped with dedicated accessible lanes to assist guests in entering the venue.
Public Transport

The precinct is a 10-minute walk from the CBD via Birrarung Marr or the Tanderrum Bridge.
Trains, trams and buses operate frequently, dropping you right at the door of the precinct.

- Richmond Station
- Jolimont Station
- Flinders Street Station
Tram
- Tram 70 (Wattle Park) from Flinders Street and Richmond Stations. These stop at Rod Laver Arena (Stop 7B), John Cain Arena (Stop 7C) and AAMI Park (Stop 7D).
- Tram 48 (North Balwyn) and Tram 75 (Vermont South). These stop adjacent to the MCG on Wellington Parade.
Bus
- Bus 246 (Latrobe Uni – Elsternwick Station) stops at the corner of Olympic Boulevard and Punt Road.
Cycle
Bicycle Parking
We encourage guests to cycle to our precinct.
Bicycle parking is available outside Rod Laver Arena and John Cain Arena, along Olympic Boulevard.
Cyclists must provide their locks, and Melbourne & Olympic Parks is not responsible for any loss or damage to bicycles secured on site.
