St Andrews Beach Brewery brings a taste of the Mornington Peninsula to Melbourne Park

In what will come as welcome news for beer aficionados and lovers of live entertainment alike, the Mornington Peninsula’s award-winning St Andrews Beach Brewery has opened its first city outpost at Melbourne Park.

St Andrews Beach Brewery Melbourne Park is the first destination hospitality venue for the precinct, which is home to iconic venues including Rod Laver Arena, AAMI Park and John Cain Arena. Open to the public, the venue adds new culinary credentials to an already globally renowned destination for live sport, music, and entertainment, enhancing what’s on offer for visitors before shows, after games, and all year round.

The new venue pays homage to St Andrews Beach Brewery’s beloved Fingal home and reflects Melbourne & Olympic Parks’ ongoing commitment to supporting Victorian businesses and putting local jobs first. Featuring award-winning brews, signature dishes, indoor and outdoor dining options, and even a Melbourne Park brewed beer, St Andrews Beach Brewery Melbourne Park will bring some of regional Victoria’s favourite flavours to the CBD, giving people a new reason to visit a precinct which already delivers significant value for the state’s visitor economy through its diverse calendar of events.

Melbourne & Olympic Parks CEO, John Harnden AM said, following a record-breaking year for the precinct, the partnership with St Andrews Beach Brewery further strengthens M&OP’s commitment to supporting Victorian businesses and creating a world-class destination for visitors from near and far.

“We are thrilled to partner with St Andrews Beach Brewery and continue our commitment to providing exceptional food and drink experiences, giving people more reason to visit the precinct on any day of the week,” Mr Harnden said.

“Whether you’re coming to an event at Melbourne Park, are on the hunt for a drink before the footy or simply looking for a great place to dine out with friends, St Andrews Beach Brewery Melbourne Park offers a relaxed environment, right on the doorstop of the CBD.

“With almost 3.9 million visitors attending close to 500 events last year, Melbourne Park is Victoria’s home for live events, and this partnership further delivers on our promise to create a thriving destination which all Victorians can enjoy.”

Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events, Steve Dimopoulos said, “there are two things Victoria does better than anywhere else in Australia – major sporting events and food and drink and this new venue at Melbourne Park provides a place to enjoy both.”

“The opening of St Andrews Beach Brewery is another ace for the millions of visitors and sports fans that flock to this precinct in the sporting capital of Australia,” Minister Dimopolous said.

According to St Andrews Beach Brewery Co-Founder, Andrew Purchase, his team “can’t wait to bring the best of the Mornington Peninsula to Melbourne’s most iconic sports and entertainment precinct”

“This venue will pay homage to our beautiful 92-acre home in Fingal, with our same ethos of striving to brew great beer, serve delicious food and provide experiences to remember,” Mr Purchase said.
