Rod Laver Arena

Rod Laver Arena has long been the home of the most iconic and world-class event experiences Australia has to offer.

The venue is notably acclaimed for hosting the Australian Open, as well as Melbourne's most celebrated sport and entertainment events.

Rod Laver Arena has facilitated concert spectaculars across every genre of music and entertainment, from Metallica to The Wiggles; Pavarotti to Lady Gaga.

Rod Laver Arena has recently revealed a new entrance and food and beverage facilities as part of the Melbourne Park redevelopment.

Spread across three levels, the addition houses four unique function spaces on the top level, including a rooftop terrace with incredible views of the Precinct, the MCG, and Richmond.

Level 3 boasts a Bistro and Bar with an abundance of natural light and elegant finishes.

Level 2 connects Rod Laver Arena to CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park via the expansive open-air piazza and is the entry point of Rod Laver Arena.

The Upper Deck on Level 4 is a large outdoor rooftop terrace with a capacity of up to 450 guests cocktail-style.

For a more intimate affair, consider hosting your function in The Observatory, a beautifully curated space that can host a dinner of up to 40 guests, or a cocktail party for 100.

Railyards Bistro & Bar on Level 3 has been tastefully designed with high-end finishes. This space can seat up to 200 guests bistro-style or up to 350 guests in a cocktail-style format.

Margaret Court Arena

Having undergone a substantial redevelopment in recent years, Margaret Court Arena has been transformed into one of Australia’s premier multi-use arenas, notably acclaimed for hosting the Australian Open, as well as Melbourne's most celebrated sport and entertainment events.

The venue now features a retractable roof, which is the fastest of its kind in the world, alongside new corporate facilities, video screens, sound systems and spectator facilities.

With its humble beginnings as ‘Show Court One’ following its opening in 1988, the venue can now host basketball, netball and an array of entertainment events.

John Cain Arena

John Cain Arena has long been the home of the most iconic and world-class event experiences Australia has to offer.

The venue is notably acclaimed for hosting the Australian Open, as well as Melbourne's most celebrated sport and entertainment events.

John Cain Arena is home to a range of professional sporting teams, including Melbourne United & South East Melbourne Phoenix (Basketball) and the Melbourne Vixens & Collingwood Magpies (Netball).

AAMI Park is one of Australia’s premier rectangular venues, notably acclaimed for hosting Melbourne’s most celebrated sport and entertainment events.

The venue features a cutting-edge bio-frame design, with a geodesic dome roof that substantially covers the seating area, with guests enjoying completely unobstructed views, free from pillars, walls or other support structures.

AAMI Park is home to a range of professional sporting teams, including Melbourne Victory & City (Football), Melbourne Storm (Rugby League) and Melbourne Rebels (Rugby Union), as well as being the administration base for the Melbourne Demons (AFL).

The Olympic Park rooms invite the outside in, with floor to ceiling windows that overlook the playing pitch.

CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park

CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park is a new dedicated event centre located in the heart of M&OP.

Quintessentially Melbourne, with sweeping views of the Melbourne city skyline, CENTREPIECE is surrounded by open green spaces, Australian gum trees, and championship tennis courts which are part of the Precinct's rich sporting history.

A dynamic and flexible venue, CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park offers you a complete conference centre at the home of the Australian Open.

Inviting the outside in, the venue is flooded in natural light via the expansive windows and atrium skylight.

Key features of CENTREPIECE include:

  • 2,000sqm Pillarless Grand Hall
  • Grand Hall can be divided into half, into thirds, or a combination of 1/3 and 2/3
  • 800sqm pre-function space
  • 15 breakout rooms, including a 250 seat auditorium

CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park has been designed with events in mind.

Our philosophy is simple, to be Melbourne's most eventful and marvellous place.

Melbourne is a melting pot of the arts, cultures, cuisines, and internationally recognised events, all of which will influence the menu and food experience.

Expect to see some local craft beers, Victorian wines, small batch spirits, and exceptional coffee for which Melbourne is famous.

CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park is currently under construction with a finish date of late 2021. The team are now taking bookings for events in October 2021 and beyond.

Tennis HQ

Offering impressive views of Melbourne from the outdoor covered terrace and an abundance of natural light, this multi-level venue is the perfect location for a board meeting, cocktail party, or conference.

Operable walls offer the ultimate flexibility on all levels, allowing the spaces to be opened to reveal an expansive space. The vast cafe area with floor-to-ceiling windows and contemporary interior design can also be incorporated into your event experience.

Tennis HQ connects directly to CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park at Levels 1, 2, and 3.

Primarily used as breakout spaces for events at CENTREPIECE, Tennis HQ can also be booked as a stand-alone venue for those smaller, more intimate events.
