Welcome home! Come join the official homecoming event for our Olympic and Paralympic athletes at Melbourne Park Oval.
The free, family-friendly event will be held from 3.30pm on Saturday 14 September. You’ll be able to congratulate and engage with the Olympians and Paralympians who wore the green and gold in Paris.
Bring your family, friends, your best selfie smile, something to be signed – and don’t forget to dress in green and gold!
Fans of all ages will be treated to a range of entertainment at the event, with live sport activations, DJs, food trucks, and the chance to meet and interact with Victorian sports stars. This is a free event and tickets are not required.

- There are several options for your journey to Melbourne Park:
- Public transport is the quickest and easiest option. Before you attend, plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions.
- Parking is sold out at the Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard). Only pre-booked parking will be accepted. Additional parking options can be found here.
- Note: Accessible parking must be pre-booked via Ticketek.
- All retail outlets are cashless. Any transactions must be made using a credit or debit card.
