Pop sensation Taylor Swift will become the first artist ever to play three shows at AAMI Park when she brings The 1989 World Tour to Melbourne this December.
Having already sold-out two concerts at the venue, the 25 year old has now added a third show, making AAMI Park history in the process.
With an official seating capacity of 30,050, AAMI Park has previously hosted multiple shows for rock heavyweights Foo Fighters and Bruce Springsteen, with the latter setting a stadium attendance record of 31,846 on Saturday 15 February 2014.
However Swift will be the first artist to perform three shows at the iconic venue. Even more impressively, she will be achieving the feat on a single tour.
The start of December looms as a busy concert period for AAMI Park, with Swift’s three shows proceeded by two concerts from Ed Sheeran on December 5 and 6.
